I have found a way of accessing comments even though I wasn't notified of them by Blogger. When I signed up back around 2010, comments got sent to my gmail site for approval. I guess that got changed while I was in hospital. Today I tried going to this site and found a tiny magic brown thing in the left margin, clicked it and there they were. Further experiment published all of them (go see!).I sure appreciate the good vibes. Follow-up scan is a month (+or-) away. Hi-tech scan over this post is how I hope it won't look. Subdural hematomas and sprung mainsprings are no fun.
Congratulations on finding your comments. Good luck on your testing.
ReplyDeleteDear Emma, thanks for welcome good wishes. I'll do my best.
DeleteIt is lovely to see posts from you again. Please if you can, keep it up. I am sure I commented on your yesterday's post but it doesn't appear. Gone to spam perhaps.
ReplyDeleteThanks E.C.! The blog and encouraging input like yours help me get well. Will keep at it long as I can.
DeleteNot sure what happened to the comment in question. Hunted in spam for it: wasn't there. Will keep an eye out for it.
I'm delighted that you found a way to access the comments - and especially pleased that you are making progress. I know from bitter experience how absolutely grueling it is. I was in the hospital for over two months. Presently I'm in rehab, desperately learning to walk again
ReplyDeleteI'm writing this on my cell phone, which is torture. My best to you and Norma.
Jon, I've thought of you often lately and sure hope our coincidental hospitalizations get us well again. I get a brain scan this coming Tuesday to see when I can get my driver's license returned --neurosurgeon said it's standard procedure for patients like me.
ReplyDeleteWhew! I'm glad the explanation for missing comments was a technical one and not a health one! So glad to see you back, and wishing you all the best with your scan this week as well as the one next month. Hang in there, Geo. :)
ReplyDeleteDear Jenny, o-My: Shift button has lately become caps-lock button on this machine. I have to poke around between them to achieve proper Proper nouns etc.. --unless i've infected the poor pooter with my brain injury, it's going to take some definite hanging in there.
DeleteSorry for not commenting earlier, Geo. Had some health issues of my own...ain't getting old fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're recovering, albiet slowly. I've learned my profession has it's notable limitations, and brain injuries and rehab is one where we are still making progress, but not as fast as we wish.
Best to you, my CHF is moving faster ahead than I can keep up with, but I'll hang in there also.
Take care, my friend.
Dear Mike, I'm doing the best I can right now. Will try to do better as time goes by. You too (deal?). I sure appreciate your encouragement. Thanks.
ReplyDelete((HUGS)) I've been missing comments as well, but I don't have moderation on so I can typically find them all. Hope you're on the mend.
ReplyDeleteDear Juli, HUGs welcome and appreciated. Still having trouble walking and thinking but looking forward to enjoying these luxuries again.
ReplyDeleteI think of you a lot, dear Geo., and hope you get better and well. My best wishes (and a bit of "white energy") I send to you!
ReplyDeleteDear Britta, Your luminous wishes bring happiness. Thank you.
